Sometimes, in projects, I feel less like a salesperson—and more like the moderator of a mini UN conference. 😉
Because systems sales does not simply mean bringing customer and supplier to the same table.
It also means orchestrating your own departments.
IT thinks about interfaces.
Operations thinks about usability.
Finance thinks about payback.
Management thinks about strategic fit.
Everyone is at the table, everyone is right—and yet they sometimes block one another.
💡 My experience:
Only when there is trust and alignment internally can something significant emerge externally.
👉 How do you handle these internal “UN moments”? Do you moderate, mediate—or take the diplomatic path of small steps?
